This policy explains what happens to information when you visit lukesimonrealestate.com. This site is operated by Luke Simon, a licensed California real estate salesperson (DRE #02362589) affiliated with Landon Realty Group.

What this site collects

The listing inquiry form

On the Listings page, viewing the full details of a property asks you for:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number

Alongside those, the form records which property you were looking at and the date and time you submitted it, so that my follow-up is about the right home.

When you submit the form, that information is saved on this website's server and emailed to me. I then enter it into Brivity, the customer relationship management platform I use to keep track of clients and inquiries. I use it to contact you about that property, about similar properties, and to provide real estate services. I do not sell it, and I do not pass it to anyone outside the services listed below.

If you would rather not fill in the form, just call, text or email me and I will send you the listing directly.

Information you give me another way

If you call, text, email or message me on Instagram using the contact details on the site, I receive whatever you send me in that message, and I use it only to respond to you and to provide real estate services you have asked about.

Information collected automatically

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. Google Analytics places cookies in your browser and records:

• Pages you view and how long you spend on them
• The site or search that referred you here
• Your approximate location, derived from your IP address at city or region level
• Your device type, browser and operating system

I see this as aggregate statistics. I cannot see your name, and I do not attempt to identify individual visitors. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. This site uses three kinds, and no others:

• Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics, as described above. These are the only cookies here that are not needed to make something work.
• A listing access cookie named lsre_lead, set only if you submit the listing inquiry form. It stores the email address you entered, for 30 days, so that you are not asked to fill the form in again on your next visit. It is set by this site, not by anyone else, and it stays in your browser.
• A preference record in your browser's local storage, remembering that you have seen the cookie notice and whether you have opted out of analytics. This never leaves your device.

There are no advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels and no social media trackers on this site.

If you want to clear the listing access cookie, delete cookies for this site in your browser settings. You will simply be asked for your details again the next time you open a listing.

Turning analytics off

Use the button below to opt out of Google Analytics on this site. Your choice is stored in this browser, so you would need to set it again on another device or after clearing your browser data.

You can also block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, which works across every site you visit.

Third parties

A few things on this site are served by other companies. When your browser loads them, it necessarily shares your IP address with them.

• Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on the site.
• Google Analytics, as described above.
• Calendly is linked from the booking buttons. Nothing is embedded here, but if you click through and schedule a call, Calendly collects what you enter on their site under the Calendly Privacy Notice.
• Google Business Profile reviews shown on the home page are public reviews written by clients and published by Google.
• Landon Realty Group hosts the home valuation tool and property search that the "Home Value" and "View Listings" buttons link to. Their own privacy terms apply once you leave this site.
• Brivity is the customer relationship management platform where I keep client and inquiry records, including anything you submit through the listing inquiry form. They process that information on my behalf as a service provider.
• Google Workspace / Gmail delivers the notification email when someone submits the listing inquiry form, and carries any email correspondence between us.

Mortgage rate figures on the home page come from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (FRED) via a request made by this server, not by your browser. No information about you is sent to them.

What I do not do

• I do not sell or rent your personal information. I never have.
• I do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks.
• I do not run advertising or retargeting from this site.
• I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

How long information is kept

• Listing inquiries are held in Brivity for as long as you are an active or prospective client. A copy of the submission is also retained on the website's server and in my email. Ask me to delete yours and I will, from all three.
• The lsre_lead cookie expires after 30 days.
• Google Analytics data is retained on a rolling basis according to the retention period set in the Analytics property.
• Messages you send me directly are kept as long as needed to work with you, and afterwards as required by California real estate recordkeeping rules, which generally require transaction records to be retained for three years.

Your rights in California

The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives California residents rights over their personal information, including the right to know what is collected, to request deletion, to correct inaccuracies and to opt out of sale or sharing. This is a small independent real estate practice and it does not meet the revenue or volume thresholds that make the CCPA legally binding on a business, but I will honor these requests regardless.

To make a request, email Luke@LRGLA.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. I will respond within 45 days. I will not treat you differently for making one.

Fair housing

I conduct business in accordance with federal, state and local fair housing laws. I do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, source of income, ancestry, or any other characteristic protected by the Fair Housing Act or the California Fair Employment and Housing Act.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Listing inquiry submissions are stored outside the publicly reachable part of the web server, and there are no accounts or passwords on this site to breach.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank details, or other sensitive documents by unencrypted email. If a transaction needs them, I will send you a secure way to do it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
